Yo Yo Honey Singh being treated in Chandigarh-based Rehab


Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh who has been missing from Bollywood scene for some time now is reportedly taking treatment in a rehabilitation centre in Chandigarh.

Rumours about the singer’s drug addiction and ill health were already doing the rounds ever since Honey Singh distanced himself from the limelight since October last year.

Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi revealed the news and it has come as a shock to the fans of the 32-year- old rapper. The singer said he had met Honey Singh at the rehab a few months ago.

“I’m really sad about what he went through. He used to be such a jolly fellow, a person with great energy... not just ­during stage performances but even otherwise,” Jasbir was quoted as saying.

He said Honey Singh’s condition was due to taking steroids and added that the rapper-singer’s manager said Honey Singh was recuperating well.

Honey Singh took the music industry by storm in the past few years with his popular singles like ‘Brown rang’, ‘Char bottle vodka’ and ‘High heels’. He has also sang in Bollywood films – ‘Party all night’ (Boss), ‘Party with the bhootnath’ (Bhootnath Returns), ‘Lungi dance’ (Chennai Express), ‘Sunny Sunny’ (Yaariyan) and many others became very popular.
