Woken up by morning azaan, Sonu Nigan calls it 'Gundagardi'

Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam's early morning tweet about morning azaan will surely invite new trouble for him. In his early morning tweet, the singer wrote that morning azaan broke his sleep and the singer in a series of tweets vented his anger over wrong practice of religion.

By tweeting against Islamic religion and Azaan, Sonu landed into a fresh trouble. His tweets received mixed reactions from the social media users.

Here’s what the singer tweeted:

#God bless everyone. I'm not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India

He also cited the example of phophet Mohammed.

#And by the way Mohammed did not have electricity when he made Islam.. Why do I have to have this cacophony after Edison?

#I don't believe in any temple or gurudwara using electricity To wake up people who don't follow the religion . Why then..? Honest? True?

#Gundagardi hai bus...

His Monday morning tweet has gone viral and he is receiving severe backlashes from the users.

Here are some of the reactions of his tweets:

@sonunigam I am a fan of urs but this was definitely a bullshit statement. U gotta respect other religions beliefs. It's a democratic country.

@sonunigam Who forced u , kan Mai roi ghussa Ker Soye rahe . What rubbish

@sanity_speaker @sonunigam Nobody has any right to question or inflict their religious beliefs, end of discussion

@Khurramtalk @sonunigam Nobody force u to watch movies but we disturb by ur laudspeakers... got d point?

@sonunigam So true.Only cows should be made to moo in morning on loudspeaker in jugalbadi with Sonu to remind u not to eat beef https://twitter.com/sonunigam/status/853758848133242880 …

@sonunigam Learn to accept & respect our religious differences. Living in a multi-religious society demands some tolerance.

@devigoes4alpha @intellisurfer @sonunigam I am sorry, calling it cacophony and making any sort of comments on a Prophet arent Valid comments.

@sonunigam sir dealing with is best policy or rise against it, its best answer for both of ur tweets :)
