When a fan thought Shah Rukh Khan was Akshay Kumar
Shahrukh Khan is witty and has an amazing sense of humour. And while recounting anecdotes from his eventful life, the actor does it in such a skilful and amusing manner that has his audience in splits. Recently in a chat show, Shah Rukh recalled a funny incident when a fan mistook him to be Akshay Kumar.
King Khan said that almost two decades ago, he was hurriedly walking to catch his flight at the Heathrow airport in London when he realised that a fan was chasing him. The fan kept running after him and caught him at the gate. She handed out a paper towards him asking for his autograph saying, “I'm your biggest fan, Akshay Kumar.”
Shah Rukh was naturally, taken aback, but took it in good spirit and asked her, “Then you must have loved my song, ‘Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast,” to which the fan nodded and replied that she had seen the song. The ‘Dilwale’ actor then singed the autograph as ‘With love from Akshay Kumar' and boarded his flight.
The actor revealed the incident on Zee TV show ‘Yaaron Ki Baraat’ hosted by Sajid Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. Shah Rukh appearen on the show with his good friend Anushka Sharma, who debuted opposite him in Aditya Chopra’s ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. The duo had a lot of fun on the show and regaled everyone.
Both the actors are currently working on Imtiaz Ali’s romantic drama tentatively titled ‘The Ring’. Shah Rukh will be soon seen alongside Alia Bhatt in ‘Dear Zindagi’, which will hit screens on November 25.
