Watch: Riteish, Pulkit as wannabe terrorist in ‘Bangistan’ trailer

Riteish Deshmukh, who is best known for his great coming timing is back with another mind-blowing and hilarious project, ‘Bangistan’. His male partner in the film is Pulkit Samrat. The story is based in ‘Bangistan’ where bomb blast, terrorism a normal affair.

Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the trailer looks quite funny.

Riteish Deshmukh plays a BPO worker, Hafiz Bin Ali, who becomes Ishwar Singh Sharma and Pulkit Samrat, Praveen Chaturvedi, a Ram Leela artist attains the identity of Allah Rakha Khan. The story involves around two suicide bombers who go aboard with a similar plan and these aspirant terrorists trying to bomb up a peace meet at Poland.

''As the title itself suggests, Bangistan is an out and out satire and boasts of a very comical take on the topic of world peace. It explores how people fight in the name of religion, though in a lighter vein. The kind of writing that has gone into the film is totally unique. It is truly a never-seen-before kind of cinema. We have shot the film in various parts of the world. It has been a fun experience,'' says Pulkit about the film.

The camaraderie of Riteish and Pulkit looks incredible. ''Well yes, there is another kind of camaraderie between Riteish (Deshmukh) and I on the film. It is just superb. Whether it is humor or an overall entertainment quotient, Bangistan is literally the best satire that I have ever read or seen,'' he smiles.

''It feels just like home with them. We are always over pampered by them, actually totally spoilt. I love working with Farhan and Ritesh. I always tell them that if the entire industry blames me for being spoilt, then it as your fault” he laughs.

Jacqueline Fernandez plays the female lead and the film is slated to hit theatres on 31st July.
