Watch: Varun Dhawan in ‘Jee Karda’ song from ‘Badlapur’

The Varun Dhawan starrer movie ‘Badlapur’ released the audio of their song ‘Jee Karda’. Music composer Sachin and Jigar has done a commendable job in this indie rock song, with a subtle taste of Sufi music.

This song has been rightly performed by Divya Kumar with the perfect combination of power and pain in his voice. The lyrics of the song nicely compliment the story of Sriram Raghavan’s film ‘Badlapur’.  It has captured the exact emotions of the story about a man who chooses vengeance over goodness. ‘Jee Karda’ is now going viral on the internet with increasing number of likes.

The beats used in the song enhance the power of this emotionally charged song.  The video of the song has not yet been released, so the song is screened with the trailer. This song has triggered the right chords and makes people listen to it over and over.  The Times of India quotes Varun Dhawan speaking about ‘Jee Karda’, “...I believe this song will work purely because of its emotional poetry, which explains the entire film.”

The trailer of the movie has released last week and evoked interest towards this film. Salman Khan too has watched the trailer and tweeted, “Wah yaar! Kamaal karte ho mr varun! Badlapur! Already trying different stuff. Film is looking good. Baap ka record tod do jaldi. Happy for you.”

The movie has a great cast with Varun Dhawan in the lead role, Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the negative role, along with Huma Qureshi, Yaami Gautam and Divya Dutta. The story goes that Varun Dhawan is totally bent on a revenge for the wrong that was done to him.  It is an action-thriller film.

Varun Dhawan is taking the right steps and building up his career on the right tracks. He is making endeavours in different genre of films which will help him to rub off that chocolate boy image. In this film, Varun acts not only as a young boy but also as a 40 year old man fighting against the wrongs of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. One of the scenes in the movie shows Varun slaughtering a dead body wrapped in plastic which is similar to what was shown in the English television show ‘Dexter’.

As it is said ‘First impression is the last impression’, this movie has been able to create a very attractive first impression and also promises a lasting effect. The movie ‘Badlapur’ by Sriram Raghavan is scheduled to release on 20th December.
