Watch: Akshay Kumar’s daughter Nitara practices martial arts
Akshay Kumar is not just a successful actor, but a fitness freak to and a black belt in Taekwondo. He has passed on this trait to his kids as well. While his son Aarav Bhatia has also got his first degree black belt in Kudo, a Japanese martial art sport. Now, Akshay’s little daughter Nitara is also following her dad’s and big bro’s footsteps.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Akshay shared a video of his four-year-old Nitara showing off her martial arts skills. Along with it, the ‘Airlift’ actor also sent out an advice for all the girls out there. Shring the video, Akshay wrote, “This Valentine’s Day don’t let a guy take u for granted. Learn martial arts, u never know when it comes handy & starting early always helps ????.”
Like a responsible dad, Akshay has already started to train his little girl to deal with the bad guys out there.

Meanwhile, Akshay’s first release of the year, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ is performing very well in theatres. The courtroom drama, also starring Anu Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Huma Qureshi, crossed Rs. 50 crore mark by its opeing weekend and saw good collections on week days too. On its first Monday, the film earned Rs. 7.26 crore, while the earnings saw a jump on Tuesday, Valentine’s Day, and minted Rs. 9.07 crore, taking its five-day total to Rs. 66.79 crore.
Akshay, who has the most releases in a year among his contemporaries, also has three more films lined up for release this year – ‘‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ opposite Bhumi Pednekar, his Tamil debut ‘2.0’ starring Rajinikanth and ‘Padman’, which will mark the debut of his wife, Twinkle Khanna’s production banner Mrs Funnybones Movies.
