VJ Anusha Dandekar slut-shamed; beau Karan Kundra hits back

Popular VJ-model Anusha Dandekar has become the latest target of slut-shaming on social media. Anusha posted a gorgeous picture of her on her Instagram page with a strong message about individual choices and loving oneself.

Anusha’s post attracted lot of ugly comments an she was criticised for her dressing sense.

"My body, my choice, my life, my karma... Free yourself from people's judgement, feel liberated, live with a kind heart & love yourself, or change till you do... For when you truly love yourself, you can truly love someone other than you... Anusha Thankyou @kkundrra for giving me the confidence to post this... Thankyou baby Sash @sashajairam for shooting me like never before. Thankyou @shaazjungphotography for making it postable (new word)... Here goes nothing...,” she wrote with her picture.

Anusha’s post was filled with distasteful comments. “Gandgi Bhari hui hai .. so shit sexy look.. looks so ugly.. before anybody think anything or reply. Let me say the picture? is on public display. It's your body your choice. It's my choice my wish what the girl looks like. I must comment.. side visible of the breasts even does not save looking ugly..,” wrote one user.

Some even called Anusha a “pornstar” and “whore.” One even raked up her recent controversy involving actress Kishwer Merchant’s friends.

Fed up with the ugly comments, Anusha’s boyfriend Karan Kundra hit back at the trolls and supported his ladylove. Replying to one user he wrote, “…kya hua mohtarma itna frustration kis baat ka hai… and it’s not permission it’s support…girls should have the freedom of wearing what they want, where they want whatever time of the day…instead of changing people’s mentality in our society you are telling a girl to curb how she should live…Agar kisi aadmi ki niyat kharab hai na… toh who burkhe mein bhi wahi dekhega jo use dekhna hai…” Karan also lashed out at haters not to tell his girlfriend what she should do and not do, rather go and teach their fathers, brothers and friends how to respect women.

Karan then wrote, “Alright, I’ve given enough gyaan..” and told Anusha, “baby tu kar teinu jo karna… mein khada tere piche!!”
