Vivek Oberoi walks off when asked about Salman Khan

It is no news that Vivek Oberoi and Salman Khan are not on good terms. While the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor has mended his relationships with most of his foes, including Shah Rukh Khan, the bitterness between Salman and Vivek shows no sign of ending.

Vivek was present at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) press conference held on Friday, April 29, in Mumbai. The ‘Saathiya’ actor eagerly interacted with the media until he was posed with a question regarding Salman Khan.

A reporter asked him if he like to forget his old rivalry and patch up with Salman, which Vivek ignored by saying a quick thank you and walked out immediately.

Salman and Vivek’s rivalry goes a long way when the superstar’s then girlfriend Aishwarya Rai broke up with him and started dating her ‘Kyun! Ho Gaya Na...’ co-star. Thereafter, Vivek called a press conference in March, 2003 and claimed that a drunk Salman had called him 41 times and abused and threatened him with life over his relationship with Aishwarya.

Later, Vivek reportedly apologised to Salman at an award function, but the latter did not acknowledge the gesture and ignored him. Ever since, both the actors have been avoiding each other whenever they come face-to-face.

In fact when Salman dropped by on the sets of ‘Great Grand Masti’ at Mehboob studio, the film’s director Inder Kumar and the cast including, Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh and Urvashi Rautela met and interacted with him. Vivek, who was also present, maintained his distance and stayed back in his vanity, while Salman too ignored him.
