Viral video: SRK fans throw notes at his entry scene in ‘Dear Zindagi’

Shah Rukh Khan is the King of Bollywood and enjoys a huge fan following not only in the country, but across the world. Even at the age of 51, he makes his fans go crazy with his charisma and persona.

A few weeks ago, a video of fans bursting firecrackers in a theatre as they spot Shah Rukh’s cameo in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, had gone viral. And now, another video breaking the internet today, shows excited fans of Shah Rukh throwing currency notes at the superstar’s introductory scene as Dr Jehangir Khan, in the just-released film ‘Dear Zindagi’.

The viral video is apparently from a theatre in Hyderabad, and whistles by audience and screams of joy can be heard along with the tossing of notes.

Indeed, the craziness of fans knows no bounds.

It is not known whether it was actual currency, but even Shah Rukh wondered about it after seeing the video and termed it a ‘lavish’ act.

“Oh wow… if this is actual currency..what can I say…uh..it’s kind of lavish to say the least!Thx for the rich welcome,” the actor tweeted commenting on a news report of the same.

Although Shah Rukh’s role in the Gauri Shinde-directorial is termed an ‘extended cameo’, he plays a pivotal character in the film as the maverick ‘dimaag ka doctor’ to Alia’s character Kaira.

‘Dear Zindagi’ released yesterday to mixed response.
