‘Veere Di Wedding’: Kareena, Sonam, Swara, Shikha groove to 'Laaj Sharam’

After 'Taarefan' and 'Veere Veere', a new track ‘Laaj Sharam’ from the film, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ was released which shows Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania gets irritate with the idea of marriage.

The song is dedicated to all the bride-to-be and the nightmares of the preparations. Kareena’s character is shown frustrated with the idea of marriage. Her future mother-in-law pampered her with clothes and jewellery. Her friends Sonam, Swara and Shikha make up her mood and take part in the pre-wedding preparations.

However, ‘Laaja Sharam’ was sung by Divya Kumar & Jasleen Royal and composed by White House.

The movie is inspired from 'Permanent Roommates'. The film features Sumeet Vyas opposite Kareena. Veteran actress Neena Gupta plays Sonam's on-screen mommy.

Talking about her role in the film, Kareena had earlier said in an interview to Mid-day, “I’m possessive about my friends and this film reflects that side of me. It’s the story of four girls who attend my wedding and all the dhamaal that it involves. It showcases women and their emotions. It’s the right time to do this kind of film.”

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, 'Veera Di Wedding', co-produced by Rhea and Ekta Kapoor is scheduled for June 1st release.
