Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez to reunite for ‘ABCD 3’

Varun Dhawan who starred with Jacqueline Fernandez in the recently released action-adventure film ‘Dishoom’, will be reportedly reuniting with the Sri Lankan beauty for Remo D’Souza’s ‘ABCD 3’. Varun was a part of the blockbuster ‘ABCD 2’ which starred Shraddha Kapoor opposite him.

As per a report in a leading entertainment portal, Varun has already given his nod for the third instalment of the dance film franchise ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’, which first released in 2013 and marked the directorial debut of choreographer Remo D’Souza.

During the success party of ‘ABCD 2’ in July last year, Remo had revealed his plans of making a third part of the franchise with Varun and Shraddha, once all of them are free from their other professional commitments. “Right now we are all in to ‘ABCD 2’. I am shooting something else, Varun is shooting something else and so as Shraddha. So once we three are free from our other commitments, we will make ‘ABCD 3’,” he had said.

Going by the report, it seems that Shraddha won’t be a part of the third film and Jacqueline will be replacing her.

However, no one has confirmed the news yet. When Varun was asked about this, he said, “Is there anything happening? There is still lot of time. I don’t want to spoil (the news). I always want to work with Remo sir and I’ll just say that. I had a great association with him and so was the case with Disney. Let’s see, something or the other I might do with Remo. Whether ‘ABCD 3’ is happening with Remo or not, we will come to know soon!”

Perhaps, the ‘Badlapur’ actor wants the makers of the film to make an official announcement first before he speaks about it.

Currently, he is busy with Karan Johar’s production ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ opposite Alia Bhatt. The movie being directed by Shashank Khaitan, is a sequel of their 2014 super-hit film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. He has also signed ‘Judwaa 2’, the sequel to Salman Khan starrer 1997 film ‘Judwaa’ which will be directed by his dad David Dhawan.

Meanwhile, he has left for the US for the Dream Team Tour along with other Bollywood stars who will be performing live across cities from August 12-21.
