Varun Dhawan fulfils his childhood wish on ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ sets

Actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have begun the shooting of ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, the sequel of their 2014 super-hit film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. Producer Karan Johar recently announced that the Alia Varun and director Shashank Khaitan are teaming up a second time for the sequel.

Varun who is an amazing dancer, finally seemed to have fulfilled his childhood desire on the sets of the movie. The ‘ABCD 2’ actor took to Instagram and shared a picture of him with ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya calling him a “legend.”

The picture has Varun in a blingy red shirt with his hand around the noted choreographer, as they smile to the camera. It appears to be taken on the set of a song and dance sequence, gauging from the lighting in the backdrop.

Varun captioned the picture, “With the #legend. Spent my whole childhood seeing this man choregraph countless heroes.finally got a chance to team up with #ganeshmasterji. Thank you @shashankkhaitan #badrinathkidulhania @aliaabhatt.”

The romantic comedy went to floors on May 3 and is slated to release on March 10, 2017.

Meanwhile, Varun will be next seen in his brother Rohit Dhawan’s directorial ‘Dishoom’. Also starring John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Saqib Saleem, the action-adventure film will hit screens on July 29.

Alia on the other hand will be seen in Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ starring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh. The movie releases on June 17.
