Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur in ‘The Intouchables’ remake

The youngsters of Bollywood are eyeing on incredible scripts and filmmakers are also signing newcomers for their movies on looking at their acting skills. Young heartthrobs of Bollywood, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur have been signed for the Hindi remake of 2011 French hit, ‘The Intouchables’. The movie will be made under Dharma Productions.

A leading tabloid quoted a source as saying, "Initially, Mohit (director Mohit Suri) had wanted Saif (Ali Khan) to play the physically challenged tycoon, but Karan Johar insisted on an all young cast. Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur have now been shortlisted for the parts and the story is currently being reworked by Mohit and Tushar Hiranandani, who recently wrote Ek Villain."

Director Mohit Suri of ‘Aashiqui 2’ and ‘Ek Villain’ fame will direct the project. The project had been recently announced by filmmaker Karan Johar and Guneet Monga. According to an insider, Mohit Suri was interested in casting Saif Ali Khan for the role but KJo insisted on young and fresh faces, Varun and Aditya.

Mohit Suri will start the project once he wraps up with love triangle ‘Humari Adhuri Kahaani’, featuring Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkummar Rao.
