Tubelight: Salman misses his brother a lot in ‘Tinka Tinka...’ song

Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his big Eid release, and as the superstar promotes the movie on various platforms, the makers have released yet another song titled ‘Tinka Tinka Dil Mera’. It is a heart wrenching number after the two happy and fun tracks – ‘The Radio Song’ and ‘Nach Meri Jaan’.

The video of the song opens with an emotional Salman with tears in his eyes, hugging and bidding good bye to his real-cum-reel brother Sohail Khan who is leaving for a war. Late actor Om Puri is seen consoling Salman. Salman, who plays the character of Laxman is left alone and reminisce the happy times he spent with his brother Bharat, as he awaits his return. The video also includes visuals of military vehicles and war scenes simultaneously.

The melancholic track has been rendered by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who previously sang for Salman’s character in ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ (Sultan), ‘Teri Meri’ (Bodyguard) and ‘Tere Mast Mast Do Nain (Dabangg). Pritam has composed the track, while Kausar Munir has penned the song. Rahat’s brings out the pain in his vocals and the actor too emotes so effectively that the audience is bound to have a heavy heart at the least.

As Director Kabir Khan previously mentioned, Salman’s performance in Tubelight’ is five times better than that of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’; true indeed.

‘Tubelight’ is set in the backdrop of Indo-Sino War of 1962 and tells an emotional story of a man with special needs and his special bond with his brother. The movie also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, and child artiste Matin Rey Tangu who is also seen in the song.

While the release date of ‘Tubelight’ is yet to be officially announced, it is expected to hit screens on June 23 ahead of Eid.
