Tubelight: Salman Khan shares ‘happy song’ still from the movie

Salman Khan has resumed the shooting for his upcoming film ‘Tubelight’ in Mumbai. The actor shot for a song, that has been described as ‘having happy vibes’. Salman shared a still from the shoot on his Twitter handle on Tuesday, December 13.

The picture has Salman looking sober, wearing a khaki pants and a blue shirt and red half-sweater. He is smiling with hands outstretched. Jovial children and men and women are also seen in the frame.

Director Kabir Khan also took to his Instagram page and shared a couple of behind-the-scene pictures from the shooting. “Shooting a happy song #tubelight #Eid2017 #behindthescenes #salmankhan,” he captioned one of the pictures.

‘Tubelight’ is Salman’s third collaboration with Kabir after their blockbusterd ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. On Independence Day, the director released the first-look of Salman in the film which indicates that he will be seen in the role of a soldier.

The movie is set in the backdrop of the Indo-Sino War of 1962. Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, who has featured in Hollywood films like ‘Shanghai Calling’ and ‘The Man with the Iron Fists’, will play the leading opposite Salman.

Kabir shared another picture of him with Zhu Zhu, indicating that she has wrapped up the shooting for her portions in the movie. “And It's a film wrap for the beautiful @zhuzhuclubheaven. We will miss you... #tubelight #behindthescenes #Eid2017,” the caption with the picture read.

The movie has been extensively shot in Ladakh and Manali, and a set resembling the Himachali town has been recreated in Mumbai for shooting the remaining portions of the film.

‘Tubelight’ is slated to release on the occasion of Eid, 2017.
