Tubelight Radio song: Salman Khan dances to celebrate good news

The first song from Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Tubelight’ released on Tuesday (May 16). Titled ‘Radio Song’, it was launched amidst fanfare in Dubai in presence of Salman, director Kabir Khan and other members of ‘Tubelight’ team.

Salman also shared the song on his Twitter timeline by writing, “#Radio Bajaiyyo Bajaiyyo zara! Ab bas #RadioSong bajega!”

The song is a celebratory track and Salman celebrates a ‘khushkhabri’ (good news) and urges everyone to play the radio and dance to the tune. An innocent Salman is seen dancing excitedly along with the locals of the region. The locality is also beautified with lightings.

Composed by Pritam, the song opens with interesting and positive prelude music. Salman’s friend Kamaal Khan and Amit Mishra have lent their vocals for the song, while the lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Remo D’Souza has choreographed the moves for the song.

‘Tubelight’ is set in the backdrop of Indo-Chinese War of 1962 and the song celebrates the end of the war, Salman said during the launch.

The movie also features Salman’s brother Sohail Khan who plays his on-screen brother, besides Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and child artiste Matin Rey Tangu. Late actor Om Puri who passed away earlier this year, is also a part of the cast, while Shah Rukh Khan makes a special appearance as a magician.

‘Tubelight’ is slated to release on June 23 ahead of Eid.
