‘Tubelight’ 2nd poster: Salman gives a salute with innocent look amidst war
Superstar Salman Khan took to Twitter today (April 20) to unveil the poster of his upcoming film ‘Tubelight’. “Peace, Respect, Love and Light in your life from the Tubelight team.” The first poster, which showed the actor’s back was released yesterday, while a brief teaser of the film was out day before yesterday.
The new poster shows Salman face and he has an innocent expression as he gives a salute. His brown boots are dangling from his shoulders. He is wearing a blue checked-shirt and half sweaters. There is an image of a war scene in the bottom of the poster and it comes with the tagline, ‘Kya tumhe yakeen hai?’

‘Tubelight’ is set in the backdrop of the Indo-China War of 1962 and it also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. According to reports, Salman plays a man with special needs in the movie, which is touted to be an action entertainer with commercial elements.
Earlier on Tuesday, director Kabir Khan shared the teaser of the film by tweeting, “Eid manao Tubelight ke saath! Follow @TubelightKiEid!” The 13-second teaser simply has the phrase ‘'TubelightKiEid' blinking on the screen.
The trailer of the movie will be out in May. There is also a buzz that the trailer might be attached with ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ which hits theatres on April 28.
‘Tubelight’ marks the third collaboration between Salman and Kabir after their blockbusters ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The movie has already broken two records even before its release. The distribution rights of the movie have been sold at a whopping Rs 132 crore– the highest for a Bollywood movie until now. Also, the music rights for ‘Tubelight’ have been sold for Rs 20 crore to Sony Music, another first for a Hindi movie.
‘Tubelight’ will hit the theatres on June 23 ahead of Eid.
