Toilet - Ek Prem Katha: Akshay Kumar shares new interesting posters

The trailer of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ will be out this weekend, On June 11, and its lead actor Akshay Kumar has shared new interesting posters of the socially relevant film as a countdown for the trailer launch.

Akshay first shared colourful poster the has a number of public toilet signs put together. There are signs written in English and Hindi and other vernacular language, images that one gets to see in public places, schools, railway stations, bus stops etc. A sign also reads ‘Sulabh’, an organization that runs chain of public toilets; Pay & use toilet sign is also there, and a misspelled sign reads ‘Jent’s toilet leadies toilet’.

The names of the lead cast – Akshay and Bhumi Pednekar, are cleverly included under the signs ‘gents’ and ‘ladies’ respectively.       

“Ek Anokhi Kahaani!!! #ToiletEkPremKatha TRAILER IN 5 DAYS #ToiletAaRahiHai,” the ‘Airlift’ actor wrote while sharing the poster.  

A day later, Akshay issued a warning in the form of another poster. It is a simple poster showing a yellow mustard field and comes with the heading that reads, ‘Nature is not a toilet’. Akshay captioned the image, “Ek warning!!! TOILET TRAILER IN 4DAYS.”

It is interesting to note how the captions begin with the word ‘Ek’ in line with the film’s tagline.

Neeraj Pandey, who worked with Akshay in ‘Baby’ and ‘Naam Shabana’ has directed the movie, which is based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan'. The film is scheduled to hit screens ahead of Independence Day on August 11.
