The trailer of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer much anticipated film ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is slated to be released tomorrow, June 11. A day ahead of the trailer launch, the actor has dropped a major hint about the film’s plot with the latest poster.

The National Award-winning actor today shared a poster in which he is seen dressed as a groom, complete with suit, turban and a currency garland. He is seen pictured dancing with the baaraatis accompanying him. However, the poster doesten’t feature leading lady Bhumi.

The message on the poster reads ‘No toilet, no bride’ and Akshay tweeted the poster by writing, “No TOILET, No Bride!!! TOILET TRAILER OUT TOMORROW.”

As a countdown to the trailer launch, Akshay has been sharing interesting posters with strong message for the past four days. The first poster released last Tuesday had a collage of several public toilet signs put together, and he captioned it, “Ek Anokhi Kahaani!!!”

On Wednesday, another poster of a mustard field came out with the message ‘Nature is not a toilet’, and Akshay captioned it, “Ek warning!!!”. A poster with images of a group of sari-clad women carrying lota (small water-pot) and lantern with the words ‘Lota party is coming your way’ released on Thursday. “Ek binati...lauta do lota party ko!”

Yesterday, Akshay also joined the ‘lota party’ as he shared a poster that featured him in a blue track suit carrying a lantern and a lota.

From the latest poster, it seems that the story line revolves around a bride who leaves her groom’s house because there is no toilet.

Earlier, Akshay also shared important information about the issue of open defecation in the country.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is said to be a comedy-satire inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cleaniness campaign ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ and based on a true incident. The film is scheduled to hit screens ahead of Independence Day on August 11.
