Toilet-Ek Prem Katha: Akshay-Bhumi's love is a sweet trouble in ‘Bakheda’ song

A new song from Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pedenekar starrer film ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ has been released. The movie about sanitation and hygiene sees Akshay and Bhumi playing the roles of Keshav and Jaya respectively.

The song depicts the love story of Keshav and Jaya who are deeply in love. They meet and spend time with each other away from public eye. But Keshav’s kundali (birth chart) has a problem which he has to overcome in order to get married to the girl of his choice – Jaya. The video also features Keshav’s father played by Sudhir Pandey and his friend and brother played by Divyendu Sharma.

Bakheda is a fun and sweet song in the vocals of Sukhwinder Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan. It has been composed by Vickey Prasad with lyrics penned by Siddharth-Garima.

Akshay took to his Twitter page to share the song this morning. He wrote, “Jag mein na _____ se bada #Bakheda? Watch now to find out :) #Bakheda song out now.” The missing word is ‘ishq’.

Also starring Anupam Kher and Sana Khan, ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is said to be a comedy-satire inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cleaniness campaign ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ and based on a true incident.

The film, directed by Shree Narayan Singh is scheduled to hit screens ahead of Independence Day on August 11.
