‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ booms, inching towards 300 crore club


Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ continues to spark magic at the box-office. Since its release on December 22, the action thriller continues to maintain its strength at the box-office and keeps on pulling audience to the theatres.

The film has earned Rs 217.60 crore in 8 days and it continues to go this way then very in one or two days the film will enter the 300-crore club.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the figures on Twitter. “#TigerZindaHai maintains a STRONG TREND… Now chasing the score set by #BajrangiBhaijaan [? 320.34 cr] and #Sultan [? 300.45 cr]… Biz expected to jump again on Sat [today], Sun and Mon [1 Jan]… [Week 2] Fri 11.56 cr. Total: ? 217.60 cr. India biz. #TZH,” he said.

‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ becomes the second highest grossing film in India after ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’.

Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Salman Khan reprises the role of Indian RWA agent Tiger and Katrina Kaif seen as Zoya, a Pakistani spy. The film is based on 40 Indian and Pakitani nurses abducted in Iraq by a terrorist group, ISC.

Katrina Kaif is extremely overwhelmed with the response of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. "It feels incredible.
