Tiger Shroff bats for his childhood buddy Sooraj Pancholi

Tiger Shroff has already proved his acting calibre with Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Heropanti’ and now his childhood buddy Sooraj Pancholi is going to firm his foot in Bollywood with ‘Hero’ opposite newbie Athiya Shetty. Salman Khan is launching Sooraj and Athiya in the rom-com movie, 'Hero', which is a remake of yesteryear blockbuster Subhash Ghai’s 'Hero' starring Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri.

Though Sooraj is yet to saw his acting potential to the audience, comparison between him and Tiger has already started to brew up.  But Tiger finds the campariosnhion baseless. He avers, “You cannot compare anyone. Hero and Heropanti are different films. Sooraj and I are also different. Everybody has different approaches, a different take on things. Everyone is unique. So you cannot put down someone’s hard work by saying, ‘Oh, he’s doing it like him’. Don’t compare us,” he said.

Sooraj and Tiger have been childhood buddies and have known each other since they were five. Tiger, too, bats for Sooraj. “At the end of the day, we are part of the same fraternity, so we have to encourage and push ourselves.” Has he watched the Hero trailer? “Yes, of course I watched the trailer and I absolutely loved it,” he replied. Not just that, Tiger also gave Sooraj his feedback. “He’s a friend of mine so I had to tell him what I felt. I congratulated him and his team and Athiya as well. She’s been with me in the same school,” Tiger told us.
