‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ song ‘Manzoor-E-Khuda’: Katrina Kaif sizzles as Suraiyya


The first song ‘Manzoor-E-Khuda’ from the much-awaited mega venture, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ was released and it shows Katrina Kaif’s dance jalwa. She plays the role of dancer Suraiyya. The song is situational. If on one hand, Katrina is setting the dance floor on fire then on the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh demolishing the firangi enemies.

Katrina is sensually dressed in a golden attire. The song forms the backdrop of a fight sequence.

Talking about the song, director Vijay Krishna Acharya said in a statement, “Manzoor E Khuda comes at a very crucial turning point in the film and it had to be a moving, powerful song. I think it’s lyrics, composition and vocals have created an overwhelming effect, making this salute to being free an incredibly special song. We love the song and we are certain that the audiences will love the spirit of freedom in it.”

The song was crooned by Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh and Ajay Gogavale. It has been composed by Ajay-Atul and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is an adaptation of the 1839 novel, ‘Confessions of a Thug’ helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film marks Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan first collaboration. The film also features Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh.

The film is slated for Diwali release on November 8.
