Tevar: Arjun Kapoor shakes his legs to 'Salman Ka Fan' song

After the tremendous success of the trailer, the makers of the action film ‘Tevar’ have released the first song from the film. The song titled ‘Superman’ has been shot in the backdrop of the majestic Taj Mahal, in the by-lanes of the city of Agra.

The film’s lead actor Arjun Kapoor takes the centre stage in the song and croons line like ‘Salman ka Fan’. The peppy song has been composed by Sajid-Wajid and sung by Wajid. Arjun brings the right attitude and dance moves to the song and perfectly fits into it. His ‘angry’ avatar has already impressed viewers in the trailer and the new song will help to increase the hype surrounding the film.

Almost every young and upcoming star in Bollywood claims to be a fan of Salman. But in the case of Arjun Kapoor it is a totally different thing. When we look at today’s handsome Arjun, it is hard to imagine that he was obese as a teenager. It was Salman Khan who inspired Arjun to lose weight and become what he is today.

Arjun has said on several occasions that Salman has big role to play in his success in Bollywood. Now the true ‘Salman ka fan’ has the chance to pay the ultimate tribute. The film ‘Tevar’ also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee and releases on January 2015. Arjun will be making an appearance in the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ hosted by Salman. The two hunks of Bollywood will surely make a must watch episode.

However Arjun is not at all pleased with the comparisons between him and Salman. There were also rumors that ‘Tevar’ is heavily inspired by Salman’s film ‘Wanted’. Recently Arjun said, “Yes, I play a Salman fan in the film and in real life too, I admire him a lot. But no, Tevar is not Wanted and Arjun Kapoor is not acting to be like Salman Khan. no one can ever be like him. Tevar is completely different from Wanted and we are not trying to recreate Wanted again."

When asked about his future projects and rumours that he is not doing any films until ‘Tevar’ releases,  Arjun replied, "Half of what is being told is correct. Yes, I have not started working on any film before Tevar releases. But I definitely will be signing films till then. My next film will go on floors next February and as far as my roles are concerned, I am open to trying all kinds of roles."
