‘Teraa Surroor’ earns Rs 1.79 cr on the opening day

Himesh Reshammiya starrer ‘Teraa Surroor’ hit the theatres today. The film drastically failed at the box-office.  The director of the film Shwan Arranha claimed that it has earned around Rs 1.79 crores on the opening day. The director sounds satisfactory on the first day collection because according to him, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 6.5 crores and considering the sales of music, satellite, overseas, internet, DVD and theatrical rights it is definitely a profit.

After a hiatus, Himesh Reshammiya is back on the silver screen. The singing sensation has worked very hard to get the right physique. Himesh has hit the gym and underwent rigorous training to get the well toned body. ‘Teraa Suroor’ also marks the Bollywood debut of Farah Karamiee. Released in over 1500 screens, the film is failed to pick up at the box-office.

The romantic-thriller film directed by Shawn Arranha revolves around Tara Wadia (Farah Karimaee), a singer and girlfriend of a gangster Raghu (Himesh Reshammiya), who lives with her mother (Shernaz Patel). She goes to Dublin where she gets detained after being caught with drugs. Tara calls Raghu for help now Raghu must help her and find Anirudh Brahman, the stranger who met Tara on Facebook and invited her to Ireland.
