Sushant rings in 31st b’day with Kriti Sanon, friends
Sushant Singh Rajput turned 31 on Saturday, January 21. The ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor rang in his special day with his Bollywood friends and colleagues, in a close-knit party on Friday night.
Sushant’s ‘Raabta’ co-star and rumoured girlfriend and Kriti Sanon, looking beautiful in a purple dress, attended with her sister Nupur. Earlier, Kriti wished Sushant with the tweet, “Happiest Birthday Sush!! May ur smile always reach ur eyes as all u dream of comes true! Wish you lots of happiness, love and ice-creams @itsSSR.”
Huma Qureshi, Vikas Bahl, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Varun Sharma, R Madhavan, Sooraj Pancholi, Madhu Mantena and his fashion designer wife Masaba Gupta were some other celebrities who graced Sushant’s birthday.
‘Raabta’ director Dinesh Vijan and producer Homi Adajania with wife Anaita Shroff, and National Award winning filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali were also present.
Preity Zinta, pretty in an elaborate off-white lehenga, also arrived directly after attending the wedding reception of filmmaker Ronnie Screwvala's daughter the same evening. The ‘Veer-Zaara’ actress shared a picture of her with the birthday boy and others on Instagram. She captioned it, “This is what a surprise birthday party photo looks like. Sushant also shared a collage of pictures on Instagram with the caption, “Big big thanks @rohiniyer for one of the best nights ever.:) Love you a lot.Happy birthday Me.”
Sushant, who received accolades for his portrayal of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the biopic ‘M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story’, will be next seen in romantic drama ‘Raabta’ which is set to release on June 9.
