Sunny Leone beats Salman Khan in Google search 2015

Sunny Leone defeated Salman Khan to become the most searched Indians in Google in 2015. Though Salman Khan had an eventful year, Sunny Leone topped the search engine. Salman’s hit-and-run case verdict, super duper success of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ also could not get the actor to the top search position. Sunny ruled the search for the second time in a row.

There are numbers of reasons which made Sunny, 34, the most searched Googled Indian in 2015 . The adult star turned Bollywood actress was named in an obscenity case filed by a Mumbai housewife; a Left leader accused her of increasing rape cases in India by linking a condom ad featuring her, her movies, Ek Paheli Leela and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai; her next film Mastizaade which run into trouble at the Censor Board made her highly searched; and a music video which featured her in titled Super Girl From China was slammed for being sexist.

Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt occupied the number four, five, six and nine slot. Former president of India Late APJ Abdul Kalam was the third most highly searched personality in India. Yo Yo Honey Singh and Kajal Aggarwal grabbed the seventh and eight positions. PM Narendra Modi slipped to the 10 position.

Movies which are trending in Google are Baahubali, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, ABCD, I, PK, Puli, Roy, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Srimanthudu.
