Sunny Leone's 'Ek Paheli Leela ' beats Anushka Sharma's 'NH10'

Sunny Leone is climbing the ladder of success in Bollywood with slow and steady pace. Her latest release, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ beats Anushka Sharma starrer, ‘NH 10’ at the box-office. In the opening day, Bobby Khan’s directed movie, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ has earned Rs 5.30 crores at the box office, which is relatively higher compared to ‘NH 10’, which raked in Rs 3.35 crores on day one.

Sunny Leone has also defeated Amitabh Bachchan at the box-office. Big B starrer, ‘Shamitabh’ only managed to mint Rs 3.5 crore on the opening day, which is less compared to Sunny’s film ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ starring Jay Bhanushali, Rajneish Duggal and Jas Arora. In two days, the film has garnered around 10.5 crores, which is really handsome and would soon recover the production cost of Rs 15 crores.

The lead actor Jay Bhanushali is highly impressed with the response of the film. "I am really happy that people are enjoying the film...they are clapping and whistling on every dialogue," the actor said at Gaiety Galaxy cinema hall here on Friday.

"I never thought that I will get this kind of release ever," he added. "My main concern was whether I watch the film or not but audience watch the film. I am happy that theatres have 75 percent occupancy and audiences are loving the film," said Jay, who last two films, ‘Desi Kattey’ and ‘Hate Story 2’ badly doomed at the box-office.
