Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar collaborate for a show on Sony TV (watch video)

After the infamous mid-air spat with Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover quit ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, while his team mates Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar also boycotted the show. Now, Sunil and Ali have teamed up for a show on Sony TV. Interestingly, even Kapil was a part of the same show.

Sunil, aka Dr Mashoor Gulati and Ali, who played Kapil’s nani on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, appeared together on kids’ talent show ‘Sabse Bada Kalakar’. Sunil reprised his character of Dr Gulati, while Ali played his nurse Laila. The duo has already shot for the episode which will be aired on May 6 at 8 pm.

Sony TV’s Facebook page shared a video of Dr Gulati wherin he says he has appointed nurse as he is free these days. The duo is full of fun in the brief video.

Meanwhile, Kapil too appeared on the same show, albeit for a different episode. Actor Boman Irani, who is one of the judges on the show, along with Raveena Tandon and Arshad Warsi, shared a picture of him with Kapil on his Twitter timeline and wrote, “Thanks @KapilSharmaK9 for another memorable evening. This one with the kids of #SabseBadaKalakar on @SonyTV.”

Sunil had earlier also entertained as Dr Gulati on the grand finale episode of ‘Indian Idol 9’. Sunil, Ali and Kapil are bound by a contract with Sony TV. The other missing member of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ – Chandan, recently became a father and is presently enjoying his parenthood.

The rift between the ace comedians happened after Kapil allegedly abused and assaulted Sunil abroad a flight last month while they were returning to Mumbai from their Australian tour.
