Suniel Shetty’s son Ahah’s debut confirmed; sis Athiya, KJo welcome him

The buzz about Suniel Shetty’s son Ahah Shetty starting off as an actor has been doing the rounds since last year. Some time back, there were reports that the Shetty scion will start his career with an action-romance by mid-2017.

And now the news is confirmed! The young and handsome lad will make his debut with an action-packed Sajid Nadiadwala film. As per reports, Ahan has already set off for London, where he will be undergoing intensive training in martial arts for six months, to prefect himself for his grand debut.

Proud dad Suniel himself confirmed about Ahan’s debut on Twitter on Monday (Nov 28). The ‘Dhadkan’ actor tweeted, “God owes us nothing but gives us everything. Always stay grounded Ahan. Welcome to the beautiful world of films. Always there for you. Papa.”

Filmmaker Karan Johar also called him ‘a star in the waiting’ and tweeted, “In full on training mode....a star in the waiting.....INTRODUCING #AHANSHETTY ...congratulations to Sajid Nadiadwala...@SunielVShetty."

Sister Athiya Shetty too wished her brother by sharing his picture on Instagram and wrote, “To a beautiful journey ahead! Congratulations my Aaani so proud to be your sister!! #AhanShetty #Junior.”

An official announcement about the project is expected by mid-2017.

Athiya was launched by superstar Salman Khan in his production ‘Hero’, a remake of Subhash Ghai’s eponymous classic of 1983. She will be next seen in Anees Bazmee’s ‘Mubarakan’, which is slated to release on July 28 next year.

There were strong rumours that, like Athiya, Salman would also mentor and launch Ahan. In fact, Suniel had even said last year, "He (Salman) has plans to launch him. There is time, it will take two-three years. Ahan is getting groomed. He is doing all that is required for him to do - dance, acting and other things - as an actor. He is learning a lot of things by travelling across the world."
