Sumona Chakravarti quitting ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’

Report is doing all the round that Sumona Chakravati, who plays the role of Sarla, Kapil Sharma’s girlfriend in the comedy show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is quitting the show.

The TRP of the show is sinking and to make it spicier, the makers have decided to include a new face, as Kapil’s girlfriend, who will be sexier and hotter. Sumona is unhappy with this decision and she is likely to step down.

Moreover, Sumona Chakravati has asked for higher remuneration which the makers are not willing to pay.

Earlier, Sumona played Manju, Kapil Sharma aka Bittu’s wife in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ and now she plays the role of Sarla, Kapil's neighbour and Dr. Mashoor Gulati's daughter, who's madly in love with Kappu.

Bittu-Manju jodi (earlier played by Kapil and Sumona) won the heart of the audience.

However, Sumona has vehemently denied quitting the show.

Denying the report, Sumona said, "No, I am not quitting The Kapil Sharma Show. I enjoying my stint on TKSS and I am still part of the show," she told The Times of India.
