Stardust Awards 2014: Madhuri, SRK, Kareena rock the stage

Farah Khan directed ‘Happy New Year’ is making headlines since Stardust Awards 2014. The other one gathering loads of attention is King Khan. The evening proved specially lucky for SRK as his newly released heist drama ‘Happy New Year’ won the maximum number of awards, with Farah Khan and Deepika Padukone winning one award each, while SRK bagged two awards- Star of the year, as well as Best actor in the action/thriller category. Also, he was seen touching Amitabh Bachchan’s feet when he was awarded. As for Big B, he was awarded ‘International Icon’.

Karan Johar and Riteish Dekhmukh hosted the event, entertaining the audience with the latest news of Bollywood, while coloring their talk with comedy at the same time to keep the viewers engrossed. Madhuri Dixit looked captivating as she performed on stage wearing a black dress.  Another outstanding performance was that of Bollywood’s lovely ‘Bebo’. Though she did not win any awards at the ceremony, but as always, she made sure not to disappoint her fans and came up with a sizzling show. Kareena chose a traditional outfit for her dance. She wore a multi colored skirt with a dazzling golden border, along with pinkish chunari covering her head to enhance her ethnic look.

To make the evening even more fun filled, SRK appeared on the stage to show his sexy dance moves from his latest block blaster flick, ‘Happy New Year’. He entered the stage with a dashing aerial act, followed by a series of spectacular dance performances. His onstage performance gathered a lot of kudos. He wore a black outfit with a red jacket for his solo. He then shook legs with Deepika Padukone, who looked ravishing in her tight fitting dress, paired with a crown for her performance and of course a pretty smile! The crowd went berserk as the duo performed on stage. He further danced with two police uniform clad dancers, himself wearing a black waistcoat paired with a red shirt. Another of his impressive performances featured him in a black outfit and a showy silver- black jacket perfectly designed for a superb onstage show.

The ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ further intensified the excitement with his dance with Deepika Padokone. It was another dance number for which Deepika wore a white saree and struck a romantic pose with SRK. In another performance Shahrukh was seen wearing a dark sherwani and was surrounded by beautiful dancers.
