Star Screen Awards 2017: ‘Dangal’, Vidya Balan, Rajkummar Rao win big


2017 is all set to bid good-bye and now it’s time to honour those movies that won the heart of the audience and earned big bucks at the box-office. Apart from that time has come to honour our stars, technicians, directors, scriptwriters and all those personalities who worked hard and shed sweat from behind the cameras. Well, the award ceremony kick-started with Star Screen Awards held last night in Mumbai.

The 23rd edition of the annual film awards show, Star Screen Awards, was held at Mumbai last night. The who's who of Bollywood graced the star-studded. Vidya Balan took home the best actress award (Critics) for ‘Tumhari Sulu’ while Rajkummar Rao won the Best Actor (Critics) for ‘Newton. He also won the Best Supporting Actor award for ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’.

After the big win, Vidya took to her Instagram account to share a heartfelt message for her ‘Tumhari Sulu’ team.

Aamir Khan's ‘Dangal’ won the maximum five awards including Best Director, Best Music Director, Best Editing, Best Lyrics and Best Background Score.
