Shahrukh KhanShah Rukh Khan issued warrant
The Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate Court issued film actor Shah Rukh Khan a bailable warrant yesterday...
...A warrant for Rs 25, 000 was issued by the court following a complaint by a real estate agent who has accused Khan of duping him of Rs 3.82 lakh.

Real estate agent Anees Ahmed of Sunrise Properties, Khar, filed a complaint under Section 420 (cheating) and Section 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code.

Advocate Warris Pathan, who appeared on behalf of the complainant, said that in 2001 Khan had approached the agent through a common friend regarding the purchase of a property in the Khar-Bandra area.

Accordingly, the estate agent had showed him several properties. The actor decided to purchase ‘Deep Van’ — a ground plus four-storey building in Khar. The property was owned by one Deepak Joshi who sold it for Rs 1.91 crore, the complainant said.

After the deal was finalised, Khan had apparently paid the amount to the property owner, but failed to pay the brokerage fee of two per cent to Ahmed. The amount that Khan owes Ahmed is 3.82 lakh.
