Sridevi’s mortal remains left Dubai, to reach India tonight


Sridevi’s death case gets closure and Dubai police handed over the body to the family. Boney Kapoor along with other family members took the private jet of Ambani and left for India. Around 10pm, the body is expected to reach the country. Security around the airport beefed up.

The cremation will take place tomorrow in the afternoon. Before that the mortal remains of the star will be taken to Bhagyalaxmi, Boney Kapoor’s office and then to her residence where media, fans and close ones will pay their last respect to the ‘Chandni’ of Indian cinema. Post that, the body will be taken to Pawan Hans Crematorium, Juhu for the cremation.

Sridevi’s death case gets a closure and no investigation will take place further. This afternoon, Dubai Police handed over the Consulate and the family members (of Sridevi) letters for the release of the mortal remains of the actress.

Sridevi’s two daughters, Jahnvi and Khushi are eagerly waiting to see their mom. It is sorrowful that the two daughters will see their mother for the last time.

Meanwhile, stars in rounds are paying a visit to Anil Kapoor's residence to express their condolence. Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukherji, Farah Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Rekha and many more visited the Kapoors family.
