South superstar Chiranjeevi calls fan “stupid fellows”

Telugu superstar-turned-politician Chiranjeevi was not seen in any films for a long time, but this didn’t diminish his fan following. While celebrities enjoy the love and attention of their fans, some of them tend to overdo things which often irritate the celebs.

In one such incident, a fan got too close for comfort with Chiranjeevi making the actor lose his cool. A video footage captured the actor as he lashed out at the fan calling him stupid, which has gone viral on the Internet.

The incident took place recently in Hyderabad during the music launch of his son Ram Charan Teja’s upcoming film ‘Bruce Lee: The Fighter’ in which he will also be making an appearance. A man kept following the superstar which got on his nerves and he shot back with some harsh words. Chiranjeevi can be heard saying, “Everytime you do this only. How many times do you have to be told? Stupid fellows.” Thereafter, he stormed off in his car.

Cheranjeevi quit films for a brief period after he floated his regional political party Praja Rajyam in 2008 which was eventually merged with the Indian National Congress. He was seen in a cameo appearance in 2009 in S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘Magadheera’ starring his son Ram Charan. He also has a 15 minute-cameo in ‘Bruce Lee: The Fighter’, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Kriti Kharbanda and Brahmanandam. Directed by Srinu Vaitla, the film is set to hit screens on October 16.

Chiranjeevi will be making his big comeback with the upcoming project ‘Auto Jani’ to be directed by ace filmmaker Puri Jagannath. It will be his 150th film. Besides Telugu, he has also appeared in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films.
