Sonakshi Sinha refuses to share screen with Aishwarya Rai

Sonakhsi Sinha has been approached by ace director Mani Ratnam to play the third female lead in his bilingual film but the ‘Dabangg’ actress turned down the offer due to dates problem. Mani Ratnam has already signed Shruti Hassan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the film but failed to fill the third slot.

Before approaching Sonakshi, Mani had a talk with her father Shatrughan Sinha who is a good friend of him to discuss the project.

However, the director failed to get Sonakshi on board as her dates are packed.  She has already given dates to two forthcoming films ‘Action Jackson’ and ‘Holiday’.

The Times of India quoted a source saying, "she loved the role and it was really tough for her to let go of the offer. But she had prior commitments and didn't have the required dates. But she will definitely work with Mani Sir in the future."

The Tamil-Telugu venture will star Tollywood star Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu in the leads alongside Aishwarya. This is Aishwarya’s comeback film. She has been away from acting for the past three years for her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Now that her little girl has grown up a bit, Ash is planning to make a comeback.
