Sonakshi Sinha reacts on Rishi Kapoor’s Twitter joke on her and Alia

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha had in the past made it clear that she does not find any references to her weight to be appropriate, but veteran actor Rishi Kapoor recently posted a hilarious joke about his ‘Kapoor & Sons’ co-actor Alia Bhatt’s poor IQ which also had a reference to the ‘Dabangg’ girl’s weight.

The actor later removed the post after facing flak from the fans of Alia and Sonakshi who found it offensive.

Sonakshi took the joke positively and said she hadn't heard about the tweet, but had certainly heard the joke, or a take on it, before.

“I am sure this wasn't created by him. It's been something that has been going around for a while. Maybe he just found it funny, that's OK, that's his opinion. It is fine, it's meant to be taken the right way,” Sonakshi told a news channel.

However, unlike the ‘shotgun’ girl, Twitteratis showed no mercy and condemned Rishi until he had taken off the tweet which he apparently posted in good humour.

The actor had tweeted a meme of the ‘Highway’ actress that read, “Alia reads in newspaper: Police caught 80 kg heroin!” To which Alia exclaims, “shit yaar, Sonakshi ko kyon pakda!!!”

After removing the post, Rishi had tweeted, “Why do you guys take all things so seriously?Arre both Alia and Sonakshi are like my own kids. I just found it funny. Get a sense of humour, yaar!”

Rishi is currently shooting in Coonoor for Shakun Batra’s ‘Kapoor & Sons’ along with Alia, Sidharth Malhotra and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan
