Sonakshi Sinha co-owns World Kabaddi League team

Sonakshi Sinha has turned businesswoman. She has entered into a new arena, sports. The ‘Dabangg’ actress has co-owned a kabaddi team, named, United Singhs, along with UK's The Hayre Group in World Kabaddi League.

Talking about the sport, Sona said, "It is a very rooted sport. Everyone in India knows what kabaddi is. It's just that it had not been promoted on a big scale, and guess that's the reason why many people are not interested in the sport. So, now we are promoting it and taking it to a world level."

Not only Sonakshi but Akshay Kumar and Honey Singh too are a part of World Kabaddi League. It is in the initial stage and Sonakshi has not invited any of her co-star to promote the sport.

"If they think they can promote the sport, then why not. Things have just started. Let’s see what happens as we move forward and if other celebrities will show interest in it then I would love to have them," said the 27-year-old actress.

Sonakshi has devolved special interest in the particular sport after she had seen Arjun Kapoor playing Kabaddi in ‘Tevar’.  Infact actor Abhishek Bachchan too owns a team in Pro Kabaddi League.

Sonakshi is keen to act alongside Salman in ‘Shuddhi’. When asked, she replied, "Of course, I would be interested in starring opposite Salman again, but I have not been approached for 'Shhuddhi'."

Sonakshi also praised Salman’s singing talent. "I love the song. In fact I messaged Salman that till now where were you hiding this singer. He has done a good job," said the actress.

Apart from Salman, Sonakshi also praised Priyanka look in 'Mary Kom.'

"It's killer, I think," said Sonakshi.
