Sona Mohapatra bashes Beiber, takes a dig at Sonakshi Sinha again

Singer Sona Mohapatra was recently involved in a war of words with Sonakshi Sinha when it was reported that the actress will perform at pop star Justin Beiber’s maiden concert in India. However, Beliebers were left disappointed after the 23-year-old Canadian singer lip-synced most of his songs during his gig in Mumbai on Wednesday night (May 10)

Now, Sona has expressed her displeasure over Justin Beiber’s performance and cleverly took a jibe at Sonakshi, who had blocked her.

The ‘Ambarsariya’ singer took to Twitter and posted a few screen shots of comments where Beliebers expressed their disappointment over the concert and Beiber for lyp-syncing. "So maybe I was wrong after all @ArmaanMalik22. This wouldn't be a worthy stage for you. Best left to the 'actors' of singing."

In her subsequent tweets, Sona lashed out at Beiber for his “fake, overhyped gig" and "cheating" his fans. She also mocked his PR & marketing team for “spitting out realms” about the time Justin spent with underprivileged children. She doubted that those underprivileged children knew who was Beiber, and the singer should have spent the time doing a “proper sound check instead.”

However, Armaan Malik, who too voiced his opposition to ‘actor-singers’ performing at international-level concerts, tried to pacify her.

Armaan tweeted, “It's okay baba chill now.. nahi toh this controversy will again mess with my notifications esp when I'm on my vacation #LifeIsABlessing."

Earlier, when there was a buzz that Sonakshi will be performing at Beiber’s gig, singers like Kailash Kher anhad d Armaan strongly voiced their disapproval. Sonakshi afterwards issued a statement clarifying that she isn’t performing at the concert and false news was circulated.

Sona Mohapatra then in a series of tweets condemned Sonakshi for "insulting" and being "condescending" to "real musicians and singers" like Kailash Kher and Armaan Malik. Her tweets didn’t go down with the ‘Noor’ actress who then blocked the singer.
