Sohail Khan to replace Mika Singh in ‘Comedy Nights Live’?

Mika Singh’s appearance as a guest on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has cost him dearly. The popular singer, who is a part of the show ‘Comedy Nights Live’ aired on Colors TV, was slapped with a legal notice by the channel for this breach.

The makers of ‘Comedy Nights Live’ are contemplating to replace Mika in the show and have approached Sohail Khan in this regard, a report in DNA stated. Sohail was a judge on Sony TV’s ‘Comedy Circus’ in which Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh had also participated. Sohail has a good tuning with Krushna, the report mentioned quoting a source.

The makers of ‘Comedy Nights Live’ have also sent a legal notice to the producers of Kapil’s show asking them to refrain from airing Mika’s portion in the episode. However, responding to the notice, Sony TV said that they are not legally bound to agree to the demands, and added that they were not aware about Mika's exclusive contract.

Mika too is unperturbed with the development. "I am not hurt or disappointed with their decision. No artiste is bigger than the channel and my absence will not cost them much. I know that the channel is upset and I hope things get resolved soon. But I can only say that it wasn't intentional," the ‘Aaj Ki Party’ singer was quoted as saying.

It seems that Mika’s presence on Kapil’s comeback show has only intensified the war between Colors TV and the stand-up comedian.
