Snapshot: Sonakshi Sinha, Arjun Kapoor show 'Tevar'

Amit Sharma is remaking his hit Telugu film ‘Okkadu’ in Hindi and the title of the film is ‘Tevar’. The young couple Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha is appearing in the lead roles of the film. Reportedly, the pair is having a blast on the sets during the making of the film. The latest installment of the fun was a picture posted by Sonakshi in the social media with the caption, `Pehchaan kaunnnnnn?!?.” The picture depicts the stars sticking their tongues out at the camera. Both of them are covered in gulaal and the colors of Holi. Still, it is not difficult to identify the playful couple as they fool around with their childish antics on the sets of ‘Tevar’. They certainly appear to be the best of friends. It remains to be seen how well they feature as a couple in the film. Sonakshi appears noticeably slimmer in the shot.

The film is based on a simple love story. Arjun Kapoor plays a boy from Agra who wants to build his life based on playing kabaddi. However, his parents see no prospects in it. Arjun runs away from his home to pursue his dream of playing kabaddi. He meets Radha – a simple girl from Gokul and ends up by saving her life. The role of Radha has been played by the Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha. The rest of the story revolves around their dreams and their love story.

Both Arjun and Sonakshi have repeatedly said that they are friends and love to work together. The latest photo pasted on the social sites confirms that the two are indeed having a lot of fun and games on the sets of the film. The photo of Sonakshi and Arjun sticking their tongues out is posted by the actress and is the second shot related to the film to actually emerge. A sequence of Holi shots from the film had appeared earlier in the media.

The film is being directed by Boney Kapoor and is scheduled to hit the theaters on 5th December, 2014. This is the first time that Arjun Kapoor has worked in close proximity with his father on a film. The script has been penned by Gunashakhar who directed the original Telugu version. Producer Sanjay Kapoor said to the press in a statement, "We are very excited to announce that Tevar will release 5th December this year. Things are going on schedule and we are very happy with the progress on the film."
