‘Singham Returns’ earns 77.25 cr in the opening weekend

The back to back four holidays worked in favour of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Returns’. The film opens with a bang and earned an opening day collection of 32.09 crore . On Saturday, it made an impressive 21.05 crore totalling to 53.14 in two days. After ‘Chennai Express’, this is Rohit Shetty’s second movie to make such a grand collection.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said it has done "excellent" business.

"#SinghamReturns witnesses EXCELLENT trending on Day 2. Crosses *Week 1* biz ( Rs. 51.25 cr) of #Singham in just *2 days*," he tweeted.

The film co-produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Rohit Shetty Productions and Reliance Entertainment has suppressed ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Kick’ box-office collection. This is Ajay Devgn’s biggest opener film of his long successful career. It is highly estimated that ‘Singham Returns’ will made 26 crore on Sunday and if so happens then the film will made an opening weekend collection of 77.25 cr in the first weekend.

Back to back four holidays earned huge profit for Ajay, Kareena starrer ‘Singham Returns’.

It is not too far when the movie will cross the 100 crore club and set new records.
