‘Simmba’ screening: Deepika Padukone arrives with parents-in-law

The special screening of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ was held on Tuesday night at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai and it was attended by Deepika Padukone with her parents-in-law. Ranveer’s parents Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and Anju Bhavnani drove their daughter-in-law to the venue. The actor’s sister Ritika was also seen in the care with them.

Not only the whole Bhavnani’s family came to cheer Ranveer but Amrita Singh also came to support her daughter Sara Ali Khan. Sara’s brother Ibrahim Ali Khan Pataudi also joined the family.

The Bhavnanis family smiled and cheered to the paparazzi. Deepika looked gorgeous in an orange outfit, teamed with gold hoops.  Deepika earlier told news agency PTI, "I loved the trailer. It's signature Rohit Shetty film. The film is one its way to become a blockbuster. It has success written all over it."

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan wore a short printed dress. She posted a picture from the screening with Amrita Singh and Ibrahim and wrote, "Simmba screening. It's a Merry Christmas for sure."

Karan Johar and director Rohit Shetty were also spotted at the screening of the action film, ‘Simmba’.

After the screening, Karan Johar shared a picture with the gang and wrote, "Aala re aala Simmba aala." Deepika Padukone too was present in the group picture.

‘Simmba’ is Sara Ali Khan's second Bollywood film after ‘Kedarnath’.

In ‘Simmba’, Ranveer Singh plays a bindaas police inspector. The film is slated to hit screens on December 28. Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana will be seen in a pivotal role.
