Sidharth-Jacqueline’s ‘Reload’ is named ‘A Gentleman’; teaser video out

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer upcoming film directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK has got a new title, ‘A Gentleman’. The film went on floors in May last year with the working title ‘Not Bang Bang 2’ and was subsequently named ‘Reload’ before getting the new and final title.

The official logo and the motion poster of the film is out and Sidharth shared the teaser poster on his Twitter timeline today. "Get ready to meet the Sundar, Susheel, Risky me. Catch a glimpse of #AGentleman! @Asli_Jacqueline," he tweeted.

While the twenty-second clip doesn’t reveal the faces of the actors, it has the male character firing guns in his both hands, while the female character, dressed in an orange outfit holds a white rose. The teaser also has a line of a song that says, ‘Bandook meri Laila (gun is my beloved)’. The title comes with the tagline 'Sundar, Susheel, Risky'.

‘A Gentleman’ is said to be a romantic action comedy. The film was initially thought to be a sequel of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s 2014 film ‘Bang Bang’. So, the ‘Go Goa Gone’ director-duo, known for their humour, decided to put the name ‘Not Bang Bang 2’ on the clapper board while beginning the shoot. Then they used ‘Reload’ as the working title, but it wasn’t finalised.

According to reports, before locking in ‘A Gentleman’ as the title, the team had decided on another title which didn't work out. "They wanted to call it ‘A Nice Guy’. And then they started thinking of variations for the same which is when they arrived to calling it A Gentleman," a report quoted a source as saying.

‘A Gentleman’ is scheduled to hit screens on August 25.
