Shraddha’s rowdy fans disrupt her ‘Baaghi’ shoot


Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film ‘Baaghi: Rebels in Love’ opposite Tiger Shroff. The ‘Ashiqui 2’ actress was filming a song sequence when a bunch of rowdy fans disrupted the shoot.

The news comes close on the heels of reports of bystanders pelting stones at Shah Rukh Khan’s car in Ahmedabad on Sunday where the superstar is shooting his upcoming flick ‘Raees’.

A source form the production unit of ‘Baaghi: Rebels in Love’ told a leading daily, “We were shooting near Panvel when a rowdy bunch of fans insisted on meeting Shraddha. They turned violent when the bodyguards stopped them from entering the sets.”

One of the troublemakers got into a scuffle with a security guard and was joined by his froends. Together, they roughed up the guard following which the shoot came to a halt.

When Shraddha came to know about the incident, she rushed to the scene to see if the security guard was alright.

‘Baaghi: Rebels in Love’ is being directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is a remake of 2004 Telugu movie ‘Varsham’. The film is being readied for a release on April 29.

Shraddha will reunite with her ‘Ashiqui 2’ co-star Aditya Roy Kapur’ for Shaad Ali’s ‘OK Janu’, a remake of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil blockbuster ‘OK Kanmani’. The film will go on floors in March. The actress will also star opposite Arjun Kapoor in Mohit Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name.
