But that doesn’t mean after that I bought all my awards. I was so naive then… a 20-year-old brash bacha.”

The veteran actor even thought that it was the reason of the cold war between him and Amitabh Bachchan. He also added that his intention is not to hurt anybody.

He said, "We have tried to be as honest and truthful as we could. I haven’t tried to hurt anybody, if I have hurt someone intentionally or unintentionally, well, I am sorry but truth is truth it had to be said as that has happened and cannot be denied. I hold no bad feelings or grudges with anybody but there were some facts which had to be told and I have told them".

The biography co-written with Meena Iyer also revealed about his alleged affair with Dimple Kapadia. In fact, he also spoke about the cold war between him and Rajesh Khanna, who married Dimple Kapadia soon after the release of ‘Bobby’.

It did not end here. The biography also has Rishi Kapoor impenitently speaking in brief about his late father Raj Kapoor’s affair with Nargis and Vyjantimala.

Rishi believes it is not at all easy to work with him. In another interview with The Hindu, he said, “I’ve said it in my book that I’m difficult and not very easy to work with but the end result is very satisfying.”

The actor admitted that his outspoken habit sometimes land him into trouble, “If I do, I always apologise. I know diplomacy is not one of the great virtues of mine. I choose to be very outspoken and often I land myself into trouble.”
