‘Shivaay’ trailer 2: Ajay Devgn is a protective father

After releasing the first trailer in the first week of August, Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ is out a new trailer days before the film’s release. While the first trailer was more about the mesmerizing action sequences, the new one highlights the bonding of the actor with his on-screen daughter, played by British child artiste Abigail Eames.

Unlike the first trailer which began with the shot of Ajay in handcuffs, this one begins with the little girl Abigal holding on tightly to her doll with a scared expression. Ajay’s voice is heard saying that one who doesn’t have anyone, seeks a family.

The reprise version of the song ‘Raatein’ in the vocals of Jasleen Royal plays in the background and it gives the trailer a haunting effect. The trailer presents the different facets of Ajay’s personality – his vulnerability, love and care for his family.

The previous trailer showed only a glimpse of Sayyeshaa Saigal in passing, but this on gives a clearer picture of her character as she joins Ajay in a rescue mission for his daughter. The two-and-half-minute trailer also has some fantastic action sequences on snowy mountains and moving vehicles, and breath-taking locations.

Directed and produced by Ajay himself, ‘Shivaay’ also stars Polish actress Erika Kaar and is set to release on October 28.
