‘Shivaay’ leaked; makers mulling action against KRK

Self-proclaimed flim critic Kamal Rashid Khan aka KRK has leaked portions of Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Shivaay’. While watching the screening of the action-thriller at a theatre in Dubai, KRK tweeted a video of an opening scene, and also revealed details of the plot.

It is barely two months since Ajay Devgn accused KRK of taking money from Karan Johar to badmouth ‘Shivaay’. The ‘Singham’ actor, as evidence, had released an audio clip of a telephonic conversation, in which KRK admitted to have taken Rs 25 lakhs from KJo for speaking in favour of his directorial ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which is set for a clash with ‘Shivaay’. However, KRK had denied all the allegations.

It seems KRK has not got over the episode and hit back at Ajay by leaking plot details of ‘Shivaay’. "#Shivaay is starting with trailer of next flop #RockOn2," KRK tweeted, followed by a video clip with the tweet, "First scene of Shivaay."

He also revealed important plot details of the film in a series of tweets. "Let me clear, #Shivaay is story of prostitution problem in Bulgaria, so what Indian audience has to do with it? Why will Indians watch it?... Story started by 9 years old memory and since last 15 minutes Ajay Devgan Sahab is jumping in the mountains! #Shivaay… 30 minutes gone and Ajay Devgan sir is still climbing mountains only so I really don't know if he has made #Shivaay to show mountains only.”

KRK compared Shivaay to films like Himmatwala and Action Jackson.

“What a great bad film #Shivaay! #Himmatwala is #Sholay n #ActionJackson is #MughalEAzam compare to this waste of time, money n energy!”

The video clip went viral and subsequently, KRK deleted them, but ‘Shivaay’ makers have decided to file a complaint against him.

Shibasish Sarkar of Reliance Entertainment, which is distributing ‘Shivaay’ said, “We are taking strict legal action and filing a complaint with the cyber-crime in Mumbai. We have also written to all the social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook too coz when any kind of piracy happens, we take stringent action including criminal action.”

“We have taken all the video screenshots, so there is proof that he has been videotaping from inside the hall. We have traced the hall in Dubai also and we have started to take action against the theatre owners also and we have asked them how someone is taking video from inside the hall. We have proof that he had started pirating the film from inside the hall,” Sarkar told Bollywood Life.

‘Shivaay’ is releasing in India tomorrow, October 28.
