‘Shivaay’: Ajay Devgn unveils yet another chilling poster

Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn has released a brand new poster of his ambitious project ‘Shivaay’. Ajay took to Twitter on Thursday morning unveil the poster which shows him in yet another chilling stunt. The poster has Ajay hanging down an icy cliff with one hand and holding an ice pick in the other.

“Breathe. Fight. Survive. Join the Journey of Shivaay. Follow us on @ShivaayTheFilm,” Ajay wrote along with the image of the poster. He is both directing the movie as well as playing the lead role in it.

From the posters released so far, it seems that the movie will have some death-defying action sequences.

Earlier, the movie released two teaser posters and another poster in which the actor was seen hanging down a mountain with rappelling rope with an ice pick in hand fighting icy monsters. While the poster was intriguing, it landed him in a controversy.

A Delhi-based lawyer filed a case against Ajay accusing him of hurting religious sentiments. The complainant alleged that the actor is seen climbing Lord Shiva's figure wearing shoes and using an ice axe on the head of lord Shiva, which hurts the sentiments of the people having faith in Lord Shiva and Hinduism.

Ajay chose to remain mum over the issue.

‘Shivaay’ introduces Sayesha Saigal, grandniece of veteran actress Saira Banu, as its lead actress.

The film went on floors in early November last year in the hill town of Mussoorie and its adjoining cantonment Landour in Uttarakhand, and then in Hyderabad. Major portions of the film were shot in Balkan Mountains of Bulgaria under extreme conditions. With such scenic locales, the movie ought to be a visual treat.

The movie is scheduled to release on October 28.
